This year we will be using the "Chemistry the Central Science" by Theodore Brown, H. Eugene LeMay Jr., Bruce Bursten, and Julia Burdge" as our textbook. Students are expected to bring this with them everyday to class. The textbook will serve as a supplement to the instruction given in class as well as provide practice exercises that students can complete to check their understanding.
Grade recovery: Please read over the AP Chemistry grading plan which can be found on this site. Any questions about grade recovery should be addressed outside of class time.
The AP Chemistry reference table will serve as a great tool for students in AP Chemistry. While students do not need to bring this to class, students should be familiar with the information that is provided. Anything that is not listed in the AP Chemistry reference table is something that students are expected to know. Additionally, I have provided a table of Standard Reduction values for electrochemistry.
